Sam Childs is a photographer and filmmaker raised in the British Virgin Islands - the playground he still calls home, and the subject of almost everything he shoots. His father’s passion for photography, and the arrival of a drone in the family in 2015, set him on a path from early storytelling experiments to founding Island Films Limited, now the leading provider of luxury imagery in the British Virgin Islands. Today Sam holds commercial drone permissions in the territory and has worked across numerous Caribbean countries, shooting the region’s most exclusive real estate,
yachts, resorts and events - with work featured in Robb Report, Mansion Global and Virgin Islands Property & Yacht.
Whether it’s cinematic aerials, a villa at golden hour or a catamaran under full sail, the aim never changes: capture the islands the way they actually feel.
